A fine 18-gauge V-neck cardigan, listed by the maker as 95% or more cashmere. Thin enough to sit under a coat or over a shirt, with five small buttons and slim ribbed cuffs.

Knit, fit and care

Fabric: 18-gauge knit, 95% or more cashmere (maker's specification, not independently tested).

Fit: sits at the hip, with long slim sleeves and a ribbed hem.

Weight: very thin. Hold it to the light and you can see through it, so wear something under it.

Care: dry clean is best. To hand wash, use cool water and a wool or cashmere detergent, press the water out gently and dry flat. Fold to store.

How do I find my size?

It comes in S, M and L. The maker doesn't publish measurements for it, so we don't print any here. It's a hip-length cut. If you are between sizes, or you want to wear it over a shirt, take the larger. For help choosing, email info@maelxo.com before you order.

Is it really cashmere?

The maker lists it as 95% or more cashmere. We haven't had it independently tested, so that is the maker's specification rather than a lab result.

Is it see-through?

A little. It is an 18-gauge knit and very thin, so wear something under it. It is a layer rather than a jumper on its own.

Will it pill?

Fine soft knits can pill a little where they rub. A fabric comb lifts it off cleanly.
